2008 Red Helmet Award

At the January Station Rep Meeting, Local 27 presented the 2008 Red Helmet Award to former Seattle City Council member Peter Steinbrueck. Peter said it was an honor to receive the award and enjoyed working with Seattle Fire Fighters who are so important to Seattle and its citizens.
Recruit Class 93 Graduation

Local 27 is proud to announce that 14 members successfully completed their one year probation in the Seattle Fire Department and graduated to the rank of Fire Fighter on January 11, 2008.

- Member maximum contribution: $13,373.48
- $13,373.48/26 pay periods = $514.36
