MDA Labor Day Telethon

(broadcast on JoeTV/KZJO in Western Washington) Please tune in to Joe TV, KZJO Channel 10 on Sunday night, Sept. 4^th at 6:00 pm to watch our annual Telethon and the Seattle Fire Fighter check presentation. This year’s six hour prime-time broadcast will be spectacular. Please encourage everyone you know to watch on Sept. 4^th.

CenturyLink Field Executive Lock Up

Volunteers are Needed!

This is an extremely fun event hosted for MDA by the Seattle Seahawks at CenturyLink Field (formerly Qwest Field) in the Root Sports Lounge overlooking the south end zone. It takes place on Thursday, Sept. 29th.                           

This event will have participants coming from all over downtown Seattle who have been raising donations for MDA. They will arrive on the hour between 11:00 am and 2:00 pm. They will turn in the donations they've collected, learn how those donations support MDA services and research and also enjoy lunch, tours of the stadium, massages, and more. This event is one of our biggest Lock Ups of the year so we need to make sure we have enough staff and volunteers to make it a big success.

A BIG Thank You to those who have already volunteered to help us at this event, but we need about several more volunteers! Volunteers help us with setting up the event, greeting participants, distributing name tags, helping to explain how donations are spent at MDA, helping the photographer, helping to count the donations each participant turns in at the check out table(experience helps!), and a variety of other tasks.

2011 MDA Fill the Boot

FIRE FIGHTERS ARE NEEDED, LIVES DEPEND ON US.
All crews are authorized by the Chief to participate on duty.
Volunteers are still needed for morning and evening shifts.

Location: TBD by Station while within Fill the Boot guidelines.
Dates: Thursday, July 21st D-shift (A-shift going off) and the next day, Friday July 22nd B-shift.
Time: TBD by Station, preferably 0730-0930 hrs, 1100-1300 hrs, and 1600-1800 hrs.
