SEATTLE FIRE FIGHTERS ENDORSE JESSIE ISRAEL FOR SEATTLE CITY COUNCIL, POS. 6

(Seattle, WA) – Seattle Fire Fighters, Local 27, are proud to endorse Jessie Israel for Seattle City Council position 6, the seat currently held by Nick Licata. Fire Fighters voted to endorse Jessie Israel because she is the most well-versed on public safety issues and challenges faced by Seattle Fire Fighters. "A commitment to public safety begins with a clear understanding of the issues", said Kenny Stuart, President of SFFU Local 27, “Seattle Fire Fighters are dedicated to keeping the citizens of Seattle safe, and we need Seattle City Council members with that same commitment. Jessie Israel has it."

In addition to her commitment to public safety Jessie has a 15 year record of accomplishment and dedication to the citizens of Seattle.  From her work in local government to reshape our parks and neighborhoods to her work at the Center for Women and Democracy, Jessie has demonstrated the commitment, experience and values to effectively represent the people of Seattle and be an advocate for public safety on the Council.
