Seattle Fire Results for 2010 Firefighter Stairclimb

This year the event sold out in record time - before Thanksgiving. 1294 brave souls completed the climb. An important measure of success: not a single firefighter required transport to HMC. Despite the struggling economy, this event is ahead of last year’s record setting fundraising pace. Team Seattle turned in another strong performance. Notable achievements include:
· Jon Carwin 13:19 10th Overall (Top Seattle Finisher)
· J.R. Helm 21:13 1st in Division (ahead of son Joe)
· Val Hecker 22:02 1st in Division (Top Seattle Female)
· Greg Reichlin 17:09 1st Lieutenant (Seattle)
· Chris Quiles 16:46 1st Captain (Seattle)
· James Hilliard 16:13 1st Chief (Seattle)
· 5 members made the top 100.
· 11 members made the top 200.
· 49 members completed the climb.
· More members Over 40 (26) completed the climb than Under 40 (23).
